  We stopped at the Relax Inn Motel based on previous reviews. We were given a room in the back that smelled of stale cigarette smoke. The bedspread had cigarette burns... read more in it and the inside of the door to the ironing board was covered with profanity. We were tired from driving 12 hours and initially decided to stay. We washed our hands, and disinfected the room. We made a couple of trips out to our car, so we were in the room approximately 20 minutes when we found bugs crawling on the walls. We didn't feel comfortable staying in the room with bugs crawling about. We gathered our things and headed to the office. The receptionist said that she would need to call a manager to refund the room. It took 5 - 10 minutes for the manager to arrive. He said that we had been in the room too long to refund but offered to do a partial refund. We agreed and left to find a clean room somewhere else. We were not given any refund. Nasty room and poor customer service. Will never stop there again. On a side note - Recency Inn was clean and very comfortable. More
