  I wanted to like this place because of all the great reviews, but no. First of all, they charge you a $50 deposit, in addition to your room rate. Weird.... read more Not used to that when I stay in a hotel. It comes off your credit card in 2-3 days, but still. When we got in our room, we immediately found leftover food in both the fridge and microwave. A half eaten cinnamon roll in the fridge, and a baked potato and catfish in the microwave. This obviously indicates that housekeeping did not clean inside either the fridge or microwave. Gross. Other than that, the place was clean enough, but there were random patched holes in the wall (spackled but never painted), unfinished and poorly caulked areas in the bathroom, a dirty and marked up exterior door, and black stains on the end of the comforter. Top it off with two different color lightbulbs in the lamps by the bed just to add some tackiness. Also, the internet was deplorably slow. Overall, kind of a disappointing stay. More
